Good point, so they're TWICE as bad! And if they have a garden and have bonfires they're even worse.
And if they celebrate Guy Fawkes night with a bonfire and fireworks then quite simply they're worse than Hitler.

Trying to relax with a sandwich, loads of young kids about and you're all getting a face full of smoke from the bottom of a strangers lungs?
Urgh, horrible. If only the council could designate that little grassy area on the peace gardens behind the metal balls or something for people who want to smoke and they can all intoxicate each other.
Smoking in the Peace Gardens displays a distinct lack of common courtesy and smokers wonder why they're constantly demonised.

I'm sure someone would inhale a fart you sneak out in public.

Why doesn't Forumosaurus and the rest of the sanctimonious anti smoking whingers just lock themselves away in an empty non smoking pub (there are plenty of them) then they won't have to mix with the rest of us mere mortals. I am sick of liistening/reading their biased repetative moaning. Same old comments dirty, smelly blah, blah, yawn, yawn. If everyone stopped smoking they will be shouting the loudest at vast increase of taxes that will be needed to make up the lost taxes from smokers.
FOR GOODNESS SAKE ENJOY THE NICE WEATHER AND LET OTHERS DO THE SAME.

The rest of us don't want smoke from your lungs in our mouths.

Why didn't you go on a crusade and tell them to their faces?
I'm sure they would have respected your wish, and put them out.(or you)

I think that they should lock themselves in their garages for the night with their car engines running. Then the following morning someone can go and let them out and see if they still think that cig smoke is more poisonous than car fumes .

Smokers may harm non smokers. For that they should pay compensation.
But they do. And they pay above and beyond in tax!
To use the land and the air but briefly is not a crime.
If it were, then land ownership would be severely unjust!
Cars emit 'air pollution'.
Tis safer to be a smoker than to live in Tinsley. Now then. Is it cost effective to place a respiratory care building just off the parkway or in the peak district? Is it of benefit to health to place a respiratory care building in the peak district or just off the parkway?

Who do smokers compensate? The non-smokers that they damage?
No they don't.

In other words I'm chucking the dummy out of the pram, there has been no mention of the bloke (see I've not mentioned him, but you did), who appointed you god. I suppose you've never ever been to a bonfire, or seen a firework display

I'd rather sit next to a smoker than someone with garlic breath, curry farts or stale body odour, they are far more offensive but I wouldn't go to such lengths as make a thread about it.
Get a grip Forumosaurus, yours is a ridiculous and over hyped bandwagon to ride on.

Formosaurus, do you or any of the sanctimonious self righteous anti smoking brigade ever
approach the dirty disgusting smokers and tell them to put out their foul smelly cigarettes? Or do you just complain annonymously on a public forum. Thought so, you do a lot of moaning but little else.

I am a non smoker, but like the ooccasional cigar on special occasions, the smoking police and the p.c brigade need to wind in their necks a little, this is a free country, the peace gardens have been paid for and there for the use of all of us.
Smokers too !! they and us motorists pay more tax than most
I get offended at kids screaming and running about invading my personal space, but its give and take ! if you cant handle the smokers ...JOG ON !

OP get a life. didnt stop you ramming your face full with a sarny did it, just think how many people were sat in the peace gardens on a diet or struggling with eating disorders, did you stop to think ooooh me eating this big fat butty in front of you may make you want to purge or throw up, or for the dieters... jump on you hold you in a head lock and eat the damn thing themselves? no. mindless morons who are self oppinionated about something they dislike. dont like em smoking outside...jog on theres plenty more open space for you to stuff your face.
ps, im an ex smoker and i don't mind anyone smoking near me.
