There is a ridiculous speed bump or (speed mountain) as you turn right from Barnsley Road coming onto Hucklow Road heading towards Firth Park, the bliming thing is fricking knackering the suspension on my new ride goddamn it!! Does anyone know of which bump im talking about?? No matter how slow or gently I go over it, it makes my blood boil everytime I drive over it!!!!

Is there anyone I can contact about this?

Who ever designed that ridiculous speed crater/asteroid needs to be slapped with a wet river cobbler

Sort it out now Sheffield city council or whoever is in charge, or im going to be knocking on certain doors and you wouldn't like it when im angry

You've got no hope, our road is in terrible condition, it's like driving on the surface of the moon, and today I went to the park with my daughter to find that they had re-surfaced a part of the path that was slightly rough, not a hazard, I would understand if it presented a trip hazard but it doesn't, it was just slightly rough, where as the surrounding path was smooth

It seems that I was not the only one complaining about the ridiculous speed bumps on Hucklow Road check out the article below from 2003. It does seem like the council have done squat s*** since then about the bumps from the looks of things.

I know the one you mean I have to slow right down to 10mph or it makes a right bang. I think speed bumps should be more like the ones on Wortley Road in high green. No matter how fast you go over you can't feel them lol

Are we not missing the point here, speed bumps are there to deter you from speeding.

So they should be passable at 30mph without a problem....they should be designed so that they're only a problem for people doing more than the posted limit..
