We thought members of this group might be interested to know that the South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership are organising some sessions to teach mobility scooters users some basic tips on staying safe.

I'm a whizz on my little tootle two ... But its only 4 mph one with hard wheels. Sometimes the pavements where I live are too narrow, or cars are parked on the pavement and I can't get past so I have to venture onto the road. I make sure the road is well clear, but is this generally ok to do so?
