We didn't have a t.v. but I can remember watching in the neighbours house, Watch With Mother, Trumpton - Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub? is that right? Magic Roundabout at 5.40 pm. Woodentops as previously said, oh, and Playschool, ''which window today?'' Mary, Mungo & Midge, I used to love that, and Hector's House.

Bagpuss, I loved it so much back in the old days that a while back I bought the complete series on DVD for £3.

Mr Benn, I have no doubt the fancy dress shop on Crookes was inspired by that show, it was an 80s classic, apart from the fact it probably started in the late 70s.

Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Ulysses 31, Around the World with Willie Fog, Spiderman & His Amazing Friends, Battle of the Planets, Count Duckula, Defenders of the Earth, Pole Position, Transformers and The Racoons just about sums my time as a kid.
