I need around 90. Joist Hangers 200mm by 50mm. The cheapest I have seen is £1.58 each as Toolstation.

Cheapest is not always best there are some flimsy ones made out of tin and some sturdy ones that are solid and you can put in a bed joint , Do you have to use joist hangers or can you sit joists on wall by knocking pockets out

Lol, the ones that I have seen at Toolstation are simpson masnory ones, which are heavy duty. I can sit them on the wall pockets in the middlepoint as there iis a wall, not too sure at the moment about the external two walls. We are in Sheffield, I am sure someone will know a bargain local trader, lol. Thanks for your suggestion about knocking pockets in the wall.
