Seriously though, could you explain something that I know nothing about.
I have read that the Kurdish Calendar started in 612 BC when Kawa The Blacksmith liberated the Kurds from King Zuhak, the Assyrian.

Is that correct?

acctually what i know 2706 its a (mede empire) calinder its started with the first day of march and also its coincident with (nawroz) that day when (zuhak or dhohak) removed from power by (kawa) ,the first day of new year according this calinder is called (nawroz) at this day the kurdish people they light a fire at top of the mounting for celebration also that month from (21/03 to 20/04 )called( nawroz ),

I just want to know, what actually happens in Kurdish New Year ?
Do you celebrate it ? Do I get money ? (Like u do in Chinese New Year ? )
Do I get anything for free ? Free food ? How long do u celebrate it for ?

kurdish new year is srart at 12:00pm at20/03 and 21/03 become afirst day and called (nawroz) and its a first day of spring at the evening of 20/03 kurdish people they light a fire on mounts and they celebrate by dancing and singing and most of them at 21/03 they go out for picnic and its four day off .at evening 20/03 thier is a traditional meal called (seven .s. ) it means on a table thier is seven things that start with letter (s) but in kurdish language what i know (rise,apple,bread,soup,flower,egg [painted],water) and they telling each other happy nawroz and have agood year .
have agood time for you too
