hi ff
i went to one meeting in hillsboro-a really friendly group! they ask you to fill out a form;weigh you then you get a handbook with all the points, plans.recipes etc. Some then stay for the talk(this is the fat fighters bit!) but most just go to be weighed.
i didnt go again but not for any negative reasons-i had to have an operation, then couldnt be bothered!!! *no staying power*i did use their ideas tho and know loads of people who have lost weight with ww so give it a go.... good luck

I dont go,but know a lot of people who have, and they have definitely lost weight. They say the moral support helps a lot. When they test diets, weight watchers always comes top for losing weight.

I used to go and lost 4 stone over a year...was well chuffed! Bagged a man and then have put about a stone-ish back on since then (tis always the way...) I'm going back to weightwatchers tomorrow at St Gabriels church on Dobbin Hill in Ecclesall - does anyone go there?

I think weightwatchers is great - it definately worked for me. It's well worth investing in one of those dinky calculators to help you work out the points... makes life much easier...

I lost five and half stone on weight watchers points plan Took nearly a year to do it but it was worth it. Sadly I've put on two stone since so the books and scales are back out and I'm counting again!!

Hi all, absynth, i used to go to Dobbin Hill, but didnt really like the leader, she was so mean! Wouldnt start 1 mintue before 6.30 and used to weigh all the gold members and staff/helpers first, would even just hover around waiting, even if it was 5mins before, and eveyone else had been weighed!

I then changed to tuesday on Psalter Lane and the woman there, Michelle is really nice. I found it hard getting there so last week i changed to a sat morning one in town, 10am just off Chapel walk, my advice dont go to that one!

Good luck by the way FF xxx

You hear some stories of leaders and how they are, Our leader is great, down to earth, to the point and very friendly.

I go to one at Chaucer School at Parson Cross - Tonight Wednesday night.

Last week the whole group lost 55lb between us, I lost 2.5lb and now have a loss of 2 stone since January starting.

Its really great - helping me alot.

OOh I couldn't go to Chaucer - I work at Yewlands might see someone I know, plus I live in Heeley so I'd be driving backwards and forwards...

I used to go to the one at Gleadless methodist church but didn't feel that inspired and no one talked to me...maybe I need a mean leader to scare me into doing it properly!

I've been going to WeightWatchers in Totley since January and received my 10% keyring a two weeks ago.
I haven't tried the "No Count" method yet, it seems to strict for me, I couldn't be without my snacks. I might give it a go soon as the weight loss has stalled a bit recently and could do with a boost to get back on track.
