Can't believe reading back how some Blades were soooo confident just 5 weeks ago!
Bassett Boys made some pretty strong overtures, especially about Wilson even sunning himself playing golf while we battled it out in the play offs!

Would probably have been, had their star striker stuck to tupping sheep, like any other church going Welshman.

But I suppose thats just the stuff of dreams, alot of dreaming on here recently.
Pity prophetic this post, the whole thing has been so sweet after the blades were oh so confident and had the so called promotion party planned at MK weeks ago

Credit to the Owls for plugging away and giving it everything to capitalise on the blades slip ups.

Think about it again - it was a triple whammy:

Division Three, Division Three & Division Three.

No escape - We take no prisoners.

What type of cake do you like then BB?

I think Battenburg should mix quite well with and compliment semi regurgitated greasy chip butties!

I sincerely hope Danny stays in a job long enough, to meet up again with Paolo Di Canio at Swindon next year.

That meeting will indeed be an interesting one

Did you bake a cake to take to MK and give to Danny then, BB?

That wouldn't have failed to rise to the occasion, and then crumble and/or the bottom fall out, did it?

Do you still have it?

If so, maybe Her Majesty's Prisons accept food parcels for inmates?

To be fair, that was posted prior to the court result - I don't think he'd have been quite so overconfident otherwise (although BB is probably the most ultra-positive blade i've ever seen on here, so maybe not!).

There were plenty of posts from blades fans on here not to get too carried away too soon - we've all been here plenty of times before...!

But chances are, even if Ched had kept it in his pants, he would have gone to the highest bidder in the Jan transfer window, we would have been lucky to make it to the play-offs then.

That's true but you'd have had some money to buy a replacement, cos Beattie was obviously not the one to do it. It might have been an idea to get a goal scorer on loan for 3 months. Surely his wages would have been worth it if you'd gone up.
