Can anyone recommend a place that sells shavings fairly cheap (for horse bedding)
My previous yard manager used to sell them at £4.50 a bale but she's out of the horsey world now and I'm being faced with paying £7 a bale!
I was told Irvings sell them at about £5/£5.50 per bale and just wondered if this was the cheapest I would find?
Thanks!

I know argo feeds sell shaving but not sure how much they cost, maybe worth giving them a ring (http://www.argofeeds.com/equine.html) I get feed from there and it's pretty reasonable.
I'd also be interested to know if there was anywhere nearby for fairly cheap!
Just bought two bags of Bad-Max from The Mill Garden Centre for £9.99 each 'cause Irvings were closed. Don't know what else they had or for what prices, the parents just picked them up 'cause they knew we needed some so I need to go down for a snoop. I was told normal shavings at Irvings are £6.95(ish).
I am just sorting out details with a new supplier and will be able to do large bales of shavings, aubiose, megazorb, easibed and lots more horse beddings and I deliver free of charge locally (Sheffield/Rotherham/Doncaster).
I don't have the retail prices as yet but I won't sell at a higher price than RRP - possibly lower if I can.
