What is the point in this bus service really? It turns up as and when it pleases sometimes with over an hour between them? Is this really acceptable... And then a journey from town to Stannington is taking upwards of 40 minutes.. Seriously?? What is the point? They might as well stop the service at 7.30 and not bother. That's not even to mention the utter lowlife that hang around the Snig Hill bus stop late at night, the chav culture in their hoards on the back of the bus. And the beautiful trip around some of the nicest estates in Stannington.. With all their beauty, culture and charming residents.

Why can't they just have the 11 and the 12 and keep the services frequent enough that I don't have to freeze on Snig Hill for above an hour.

The point of it is to give a half hourly bus service to both Stannington and Hall Park Head. People might moan about it but think if the 11/12 ran right through, you'd have a bus to Stannington per hour and a bus to Hall Park Head per hour. There's only about 2 bus stops missed about by having the 11A instead of the 11/12. Seems better for everyone!

Do you have sufficient evidence to show when the service has failed to operate properly?

If you don't like it then you can use the very much loved SL2... oh wait it finishes about 8pm!!!

If you don't like Stannington, bugger off somewhere else!

Where did I say I don't like Stannington? Stannington is lovely. I love living here.

And what evidence?

Stannington's a lovely place. You've got the 11 bus and the bus linking it with the train

Because it will not make commercial sense to run 2 services virtually empty after 7:30pm, the bus company is out to make money, remember it is not a public service, First's shareholders want as much as they can get.
