Hi All
Does anyone know anywhere that buys record collections?
Don't think theres anything special in there, couple of single picture disc's, otherwise just a general collection from the 80's. All in new condition.
Not expecting to get much, just cant bring myself to throw them in the bin

Vinyl Demand on Rockingham Street just near Wellington Street, Record Collector in Broomhill. Another on Arundel Street near Charles Street. 80s stuff generally isn't very valuable but you never know. A charity shop will take what you can't sell.

Vinyl Demand has now moved to 7 Charter Square near the old Grosvenor Hotel. It's a minute away from their old location.

Record Collector can give you a good price - especially if you want to exchange for store credit.

Any Smiths or Pulp stuff - speak to me first!

Try LP Records:
137a Arundel Street
s1 2nu Sheffield
Phone 0114 276 3505

Also use Discogs, as posted above, to get a rough estimate of what your collection is worth... Might be able to sell a few records, worth a high value, on their own and then what remains as one lot.

Thankyou for your replys.
I took them to Record Collector at Broomhil but they did'nt want them.
Like i've said, they hold too many memories to throw away, just did'nt have room to keep then all seeing as myself, o/h and son have moved from a 3 bedroom house into a 2 appartment.
For the time being my records are stay in my mums spare bedroom.
Maybe oneday 80's music on vinyl might come back into fashion

I know. That's why I used the word generally in the sentence "80s stuff generally isn't very valuable".
