The interesting point in the interview is when he is told that Dave Jones was in the Crowd at Chesterfield, shortly after in the Daily Mirror newspaper the "Megson makes complaint against Wednesday" article appeared, he won't comment on that on anything else regarding his dismissal which might be seen as foul play obviously for legal reasons i'm not saying there was any foul play but it paints a picture.

Megson wants another stint at Wednesday which no doubt would have to come after Mandaric leaves Hillsborough, would you lot have him back? Bad spell of late but never the less 3rd in the league and looked like the players supported him.

I'm not the biggest fan of Megson and this isn't just cos hes managed Wednesday but i've never really liked his ego when watching him on the box or him complaints and whinging about things in the past, that said I can see him walking into a Championship job some time in the next 12 months possibly 6 months. His record speaks for itself at the end of the day he knows how to turn around flopping clubs despite his reputation along the way as a route one long ball manager as the commentators said and this isnt a dig at Wednesday but at Megson.

I've never liked him for the same reasons even though I've never met him but I think he has been shafted big style and treated very poorly.

That was my initial reaction too. I thought Mego was the one to get them up for it in the play offs and that Dave Jones might not as he let an 11 point lead slip at Wolves and West Brom beat them to it with Megson as manager. He did get them up the following season though (beating United at Cardiff).
Having said that, the Derby apart, recent results and performances have been terrible. Wednesday have struggled against the poorer sides this season and I think that's to do with the style of football they play. It seems to work against the better sides like United but in the other games it's like against like and they cancel each other out.
I was very surprised that Jonesy got a 3.5 year contract. Manderic has to back him big style if we don't make it this season. So I'm starting to come around to his way of thinking. We'll see what happens tonight.
I do feel for Gary. I remember him in tears after one of the semi final defeats in the 80s and he'll have shed a few last week.

Pretty agree with what jim says there.Think the fact that megson is a wednesdayite and has the same passion as the supporters made it hard that he was sacked. With us struggling against some of the poorer teams and that we havent really stuffed anybody all season ,does show that teams soon suss us out and we not really that hard to beat.Even though DJ has only had a couple o days to work with the players ,i am hoping for a change of style tonight and looking forward to it.

The injuries to Madine and J J .along with also losing Weaver did not help him.

Neither did losing Marshall, him on one side and a fit and firing JJ on the other and we could have been well away.
