Hi Folks

I've just seen a dog that looks like a rottweiller wandering around walkley, bole hill road. He didn't seem very old, prob around 2 or 3. Looked all black apart from a bit of brown around his face but it was dark.

I would have brought him home but he didn't have a collar and he was trying to attack my dog. He was very aggressive.

Just thought i'd post in case anyone has lost him. It was headed from bole hill road up towards the BMX track and the Bole Hill Recreational Grounds.

Hope someone finds him before he gets hurt or hurts another dog.

Cheers

why have I never seen you in the pets group?

I have a beagle who particularly likes to have other beagles to walk with

I'd started researching setting up scent work sessions for those of us with scent hounds who don't fancy flyball classes, but unfortunately that has gone on a back burner with the arrival of a small person in the family. Would you be interested in this kind of thing in the future?

I have been on a few times ages ago.

It sounds good but unfortunately i can't let my dog off the lead at the moment. We have issues with recall training. We take him to the basket ball court on bole hill recreational grounds so he can run around chasing toys but he doesn't do very well off lead.... at all. Kind of picks a direction and runs for it.

He seems to do ok when he's with his friend Harvey as he just follows him around and Harvey comes back but he doesn't listen when i shout him to come back when he's on his own. any tips??

lots - but I've hijacked your thread, and it's easier to do on a walk
You've got a scent hound, not a dog

we're beagle welfare volunteers and are currently working on the same issue with another family

PM me if you want any help
