Hi Everyone
Just want to tell you about a baby and toddler group I have just set up called Peas in a Pod. We are a friendly baby and toddler group for singletons, twins and more! Our group is different to other baby and toddler groups because we meet at different venues on different days of the week so, hopefully, you will be able to join us somewhere sometime. We mainly meet in Sheffield but sometimes we venture further afield! We meet at a variety of venues - soft play centres, each others' houses, outdoors for walks, cafes, parks, etc, and we are always open to suggestions for other places to meet.
As a mum of seven month old twins who hasn't been able to go to a playgroup on a weekly basis, I know how daunting it can be to walk into a a room with my twins - everyone seems to know each other and sometimes it's a bit difficult to make new friends for yourself and for your little ones! I aim to get different mums, dads, grandparents, childminders and carers at each meet up so no-one should feel left out or nervous about coming. We welcome anyone who would like to join us at our meet ups.
If you have a suggestion for a venue, please let us know. We are always on the lookout for church halls or other venues which already have a playgroup so if you can recommend a playgroup, get in touch.
