Not too sure, yet! Perhaps S11 or anywhere around town. Thanks

hi- i go to a zumba class at the scout and guide centre hall on trippett lane (next to The Grapes pub) and i noticed that their rooms are for hire- there is a large hall with a stage, and several smaller meeting rooms. not sure of prices. hope that helps!

Hi

Local churches are always a good place to start for hiring a room/hall.

Good luck!

Yeah, thanks. I've just tried Ecclesall parish church and they don't hire their hall out, though. Was wanting a medium size room, ideally carpetted, with easy parking (so city centre probably isn't best idea!). Don't want to pay a fortune, either. I know some church halls charge £20 an hour and that's a bit much for me! Thanks for all replies so far!

what are the classes in?

some spaces are available for specific activities such as arts and crafts

Have you considered asking a pub if you can use their back room - for which they only want the bar takings. Or you could book your courses to include a lunch provided by them

Even if it's guitar lessons you're giving, you may be able to find a willing pub!

it depends on your target market actually

Some pubs have good family rooms which are probably somewhat under utilised

The angel at woodhouse used to have a good outdoor play area too (don't know what it's like now)
