I am looking to buy a new car. I am wanting one which has a lot of legroom for the rear seat passengers as I am tall and have to have the seat quite far back.
I find the usual hatchback too small these days.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

I would go to somewhere like Carcraft and try them all out Although you don't need to buy from them....

My husband had a Peugeot 607 for a while, which was like a living room on wheels, a giant of a car with vast legroom. Bit of a bugger to park though as it was quite wide

Take a look at a Skoda Superb - loads of rear legroom and adjustable rear seats!
It will seem huge after a hatch though

Have a look on the "Tall Person's Club" website. I have a similar problem. My seat needs to be at full stretch for me to fit in but I recall Passats and Bimmers were quite good.

Agree with a poster above.....Have you taken a look at a Skoda Superb? They are huge in the back. It's basically an Audi A6 without the Audi price tag. If you can get past the badge, Skoda make some very good cars & the reliability / ownership reviews seem to back this up.

Peugeot 307 is pretty good for legroom. I'm 6 foot 4 and have the seat all the way back and there's still legroom in the rear footwell.
And if you go for an LX or SE model you get steering wheel reach as well as height adjustment so you can bring the wheel closer to you.

A friend of mine has an Audi A8 L (long wheelbase version).
There are many living rooms with less legroom!
... and there's onboard Freeview
Think about it - you know it makes sense
