There seems to be alot of talk what might and might not happen at both clubs in January and I think most of you will agree it is mainly down to the Chairman or in the Blades case KM what who do and don't get brought into the club or who leaves.
Personally I don't expect much from KM and probably won't be dissapointed.
Some owls have high hopes of manderic intentions of spending a substantial ammount of money on the squad and others aren't too confident.
So there it is my prediction for the Blades is there's more chance of losing a bit of quality than adding to it.
As for wednesday why do you think manderic ignored megsons request to give a player a new contract this week, does he think he is a better judge than megson, is he going to put the savings on wages to better use???.

If megson really wanted to keep j.o.c then i do find it a bit strange mm refused it, unless like you say he plans on putting the wages to better use. MM is as desperate as the fans for promotion [maybe for different reasons] so i do expect him to finance any additions megson wants.

As a long time Sheff Weds supporter i expect very little to happen, but if it does, and it benefits the club/team, then it's a bonus

Same here for the Blades in fact I would consider very little change a bonus.

I expect milan to back megson and secure the players we need being ben marshall for one.
I don't know how much is going to be spent but if milan is to stick to his word and back megson he will have to dig in to his pockets.
For me we need to keep this winning side together that has showed character that we could only dream of a year ago and keep pushing to secure automatic promotion.
As stated in other threads that it is a crucial time of the year where things can go wrong for both sides or any side for that matter in this league.
I have all confidence in mm and gm to get us back in to the championship and to be honest am loving this season so far as the "MASSIVE" are looking good !

What do I expect - nothing at all, but if he would like to buy me a nice car then i would gladly except
other than that - I expect nothing then you cant be disappointed....as it usually ends up that way so you learn not to build your hopes up.

I expect either nothing at all or token "just enoughs" from both bosses
MM is the more likely to splash should wednesday need to or want to but I reckon any change to both squads will be minimal

As for MM for JOC its nothing to do with him Paul Aldridge sorts all the Contracts and Player offers out.
THink all it was with JOC is that we acted too late.

I think you are way off the mark saying it has nothing to do with mm, aldridge would have to get his ok on any contract or player offers I'm sure of that.

from what i've read i'd agree with the bold. i'm not sure who deals with it all but it sounds like the yanks nipped in while the club was still deciding whether to offer him one.
as for what i expect from MM, i really don't know. if he get marshall on a permanent deal i'd be more than happy and maybe an extra midfielder and striker but i've learnt not to expect much with chairmen, i wont be disappointed then

I'm expecting our chairman to have a very quiet January. The last week in December might be quite busy though

i dont think wednesday will do too much to be honest, i wont be expecting any "new" signings , although i expect to make the bywater deal permanant and possibly make marshall's loan til the end of the season , cos i cant see stoke selling him for less than a million.

yes, his loan ended, derby dont want him, and weaver isnt fully fit hence the reason we need a good reserve.
