Hey!

I've got to go back to work in April next year (Boo!) and my daughter will be 11months old.

Does anyone have any good reviews on a good nursery around S8 please?

I also have a problem in that I work shifts and it is difficult to get the same shift pattern every week so I need a nursery that will let me change my daughers days with a few weeks notice!

Any ideas will be great, Thank you xx

Both my children go to Chantryland Nursery at the back of Graves Park, near the church. Both went from being 6 months old and I can not fault them. They are very settled there have good relationships with the girls that work there and there is a real family environment. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

Have you considered a Childminder? There is masses of research that shows that younger children have better outcomes if they are in a home environment for the first few years.
If you find a good Childminder they are worth their weight in gold!

is S8 way and is doing the Foundation Degree in Early Years with me (we give up our Saturdays to attend Uni), but I am not sure what spaces she has right now.
I am just over the way in S14 and as of June 2012, have a few vacancies due to expansion

Kidsunlimited @ Millhouses has a great Reputation. If anyone has any concerns please direct them to the Nursery Manager who will be happy to help.

Visit the Nursery and decide for yourself!

0845 365 2931 or just call in.

A 'visit' rarely gives a true impression. Surely other peoples experience gives a more reliable/truthful information than half a hours visit to a nursey.
It wasn't until my son was there a while that problems developed. I will not post them on a public forum but if the OP wants to pm me I have no problem giving the details of what problems I had.

Thank you for your replies.
I've been back at work for a few months now and we have a great nursery that we all really like. I can't fault them at all.

Thank you again

Who did you end up with CLK1??

Have they been as accommodating with your changing shifts?

Just curious about the flexibility of Nursery VS Childminder

thanks
