What do you like that come out of a packet and aren't classified as crisps?

Mini Cheddars?

Rice Crackers?

Bombay Mix?

Tropical Mix?

Pretzels, Mr Bush?

Well, What?

I'm consciously cutting down on salt so as a snack substitute I've been roasting different types of nuts in a mix of spices. The raw nuts come out of a packet so they qualify to be included in this thread and so are my current non-crisp snack of choice.

At the risk of being branded a health nut - fruit! Fresh is best - or dried and mixed with nuts - following that panuts, pistachios or pecans

I'll give you a good crips substitute tip.
Get some lasagne strips and par boil them until they are soft.

Cut into triangles (a la dorito stylee) and season with whatever you like (no solt if you dont want).

Then oven bake on about 200 degrees (c) until golden brown and crispy

Honey roasted peanuts are even better if you sprinkle a bit of salt on them and shake the bag.

Try it!

Smokey Bacon flavoured Quavers! Lovely jubbly innit?!

D'oh! I almost sounded like I come from somewhere South of the M1 there, I feel like a traitor! Oh well never mind, I'll go and make a nice pot of Yorkshire tea to make up for it

I always consider corn based snacks to be crisps - is this wrong of me?

Salt and Vinegar Snack a Jacks! also like the caramel ones, taste like toffee popcorn but not really savoury. Also love Pistachios, one of the few nuts I can actually eat without being violently ill!
Peanuts are the devil! ARRRGGGHHH!

Salted almonds are lovely. Spain is the best place to get this sort of snack.
