Wages are due to come down in the north, cause the think tank don't think you need as much and aint worth as much - listen to the news (local)

Public sector workers in the North "should not get the same pay as those who live in the south" and they wern't talking about London It may be on BBC local news, but it was on "Calender" just now

Meh, there has been a "North/South divide" for years, always has been, always will be.
I somehow doubt I'll emigrate to that London any time soon though, even though I have a Brother who lives there.

I'm from the south, but I'm disgusted if this is going to go through. them and us again, how long can we stand it - North v South - and the North always comes second.

Been the same since roman times. Watched it on Discovery1 about there occupation. The romans hated anything beyond the south and south west. Looks like nothern tribes arn't worth exploiting lol.

I'm not sure I understand - someone has said they don't think the north should get the same wages as the south, which they already don't?

Is it because living costs are higher down south.
Or are living costs higher because wages are higher.
