Hi,
I'm pretty new to sheffield, and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a student publication (either hard copy or online) where you can advertise services. There must be some uni students who would like to learn the cello and now would be a good time of year to find out...

The student newspaper is called the Forge Press, the website is forgetoday.com and you can contact them through that. They don't seem to have external advertising on their website but they might do in the print edition, I'm not sure, I haven't picked up a copy in ages. You might be able to put up some posters/leaflets somewhere in the student's union if you go in and ask. You might also be able to put up posters in the music department but I'm not sure if they let people who don't work for them advertise, again you'd have to go in and ask.
