Just wanted to say visited there today and first impressions were...mmmm a little run down and dowdy (not the fault of the staff i know) but i have to give a BIG thumbs up to the staff. They kept people well informed,we're friendly and a happy bunch. Then to top it all a Sister i beleive came around the waiting room taking orders for hot drinks and toast for patients who had been waiting for transport...WOW!! well done to you all, your a credit to the NHS and the team within which you work

It's nice to read a thread praising something instead of complaining all the time. I am a firm believer in complaining when I'm not happy, but it is only fair to give praise when you're happy aswell

Unfortunately I am regular patient of the Chest Clinic. However, I totally agree that the staff are total stars , from the reception staff to the medical staff.

I believe they are planning on moving the department to a much newer part of the hospital in the near future.
