This autumn we're appealing to people in Sheffield to hit the dance floor with Marie Curie Cancer Care and raise money to support Marie Curie Nurses in the South Yorkshire area.

Our brand new Dance-a-thon Challenge is taking place at Ponds Forge on the evening of Thursday 17th November and will test your endurance with at least four different dance styles, including Zumba, over three hours.

Each hour of dancing is led by expert dance teachers guiding you through the moves and keeping you motivated as you dance the night away. You don’t need a partner or any dance experience whatsoever for this event, just the determination and willpower to keep moving. So, come on your own or with a large group of friends and just carry on dancing to complete the challenge!

It costs £10 to register and we ask all participants to raise £50 in sponsorship. The event is open to anyone 12yrs and above (under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult).

Take on the Dance-a-thon Challenge for Marie Curie Cancer Care and let your feet do the fundraising!

For more information and for details of how to register please contact liz.howlett@mariecurie.org.uk or call the local fundraising office in Sheffield on 0114 279 3010.

When will charities start to accept that people raise what they can?
