For years now I have been past this place (opposite Attercliffe Police Station, on the same side as the Natwest but about 200 yards before it) and wondered - what the hell is it?

It always has Venetian blinds closed, a dull light is always on behind it, I never see anyone going in or going out, the door is never open, and above it there is another sign saying "Munchies takeaway" or something like that.

Is it actually a cafe or something else? I cant be the only one who wonders this?

Both the Dhow Cafe and Express Taxis have the address 33 Attercliffe Common on Google, so looks as if you correct.

Not seen a single taxi outside it though. And why not change the sign?

Perhaps they just like that air of mystery? When I lived in London, I used to walk past an establishment called 'The Hat Shop'. You couldn't see inside from the street and in the window was a display of - you guessed it - hats. But open the door and go inside, and you'd find yourself in a cafe.
