Over the keyboard?

I suggest take the battery out and let it dry out for a day. Put it in a warm place.

If you put in a warm place then any moisture will evaporate which is a good idea.

But if it was Orange juice then it will leave a sticky residue not a good idea

Evidently the sugary deposits corrode the circuit board

Try PM'ing one of the Mods Ghozer he can advise you on what to do

It may sound silly but how strong was the orange juice? still, diluted, fizzy ect..

If it was diluted it may not be bad, but i stick by my work and let it dry out for at leist 8hrs.

What happend when the orage was spilled? did it shut down ie short out?

Did it shut down normally..

Did you immediatly take the battery out?

Yeah it the stickiness that's the problem, not the moisture.

I seem to remember something years ago saying you should bathe it in PURE water (this fancy stuff, not tap water), it's clear enough to get the residue off, though look into this yourself first (so you can't blame me)

When this happens as said you need to take out the battery also remove cmos battery and leave laptop laid upside down on its screen otherwords so theres less chance of it spreading on the main board.

If it wasnt alot, it might not have gone past the keyboard (as it's a metal sheet). it could just be laying under the keyboard.
