As per title, where in Sheffield can I buy powder paints? I tried Hobbycraft, Toys R Us and B&M earlier while I was passing M.Hall retail park but they only sell liquid or block/tablet paints. Anyone know somewhere to go?

I'm sure there's a place in Town, Andrews I think, that sells art stuff, as I recall it's somewhere near the City Hal Tram stop.

I'd give Pinders in Moore Street a bell - think they might sell tempera.

Andrews shut down years and years and years ago. There is a place further up West Street next to the Christian Bookshop. They sell all sorts of artists materials and are very cheap (not in a bad way). Also Artscene on Chesterfield road.

Andrews was a nice little shop. Are you thinking of Carsons, in West Street, illuminati? As far as I know, Artscene doesn't stock powder paint - at least, I've not seen any in there.

I always thought Andrews as a big shop, it had 2 floors the last time I went in! (years and years and years ago!) That's it Carsons!

Yes, you're right about Andrews - I was using "little" in an affectionate sense

Dunelm mill sells a few art materials, but powder paints are really stuff of children's toy shops. Early Learning used to sell before it changed its ethos as did Mothercare. Bit out of touch with good toy shops but the toy manufacturer galt used to sell so any playgroup etc with their catalogue could probably get for you.

Try Hindleys just off the parkway or Colourcraft down Attercliffe both have great websites.
