No internet the world would crash

Imagine the world with no internet, the world would crash these days.

Are we too over reliant on the world wide web ???

I don't think that its a case of being over reliant. When a new method of communication arrives, we would be lacking if we didn't take advantage. You could say the same about the mobile phone, or indeed the introduction of the telephone per se, or if you want to go back further, the letter post. All brought about their own revolutions.

Also like saying without cars, metal tools, electricity etc, though before the coming of the Bronze age, we did just fine.

On the other hand if the internet crashed we would probably all be doing something worthwhile.

Mmmm....imagine the world with no internet. Not such a hard thing to do for some of us older people.

It would mean that kids would leave their bedrooms and go out and play...it would mean people would actually start interacting with each other face to face in real situations. It would mean that porn would return to the top shelf of the newsagent who would discreetly place your purchase in a plain brown wrapper.....it would mean shops like Woolies and TJHughes would still be going concerns....and that we would have to go out and get out shopping.

For me personally it would mean I could get my arse of this chair and go and see what the rest of my home looks like

Thats so true (except for the porn bit in my case, certainly too old for that malarkey:hihi:) However, it also means I get to 'talk' to family and old friends more than I would, or even could, otherwise.
