Those who don't have satnav or a map or are immigrants who were looking for Scarborough.

Enjoy the journey there, try to avoid actually arriving there, enjoy the journey back.

Someone already pointed out that most of Sheffield will have dragged themselves there, so why not stay here and enjoy the peace and quiet.

If you really must go though, miss Skeggy by a few miles and spend the day at Gibraltar Point.

Most of us have been but we don't admit it, you should enjoy it like the rest of us, it's almost like going abroad without the language and the aeroplane an you take as much luggage as you need, wellies, umbrella, thermos flask and bottle of Scottish.
You will have a new view on home when you get back even if you have not hovered up before you went.

Benidorm.....Skegness is a disgusting place full of chavs that fight at the tiniest opportunity......believe me, I went to a wedding once in Skeggie, it ended up as a total fistfight between the younger members of the clan, then the elders joined in !!

The bride ended up attention seeking in the hotel bar....and threatening to divorce her husband......we left that evening, and will never go back.

Perhaps she hasn't, I haven't.

From what I have read so far it is much the same as visiting Hillsborough, you will see the same peope there. Why don't you people go on holiday to a place where you can get away from it all?

Perhaps you could treat her to a brief sojourn at Martha's vineyard or Klosters perhaps Monte Carlo on your next visit.

Never been to Skeggy ?? Good lord. You don't know what your missing.
I have fond memories of Skeggy, Cleethorpes, Scarborough, Whitby, Filey etc.
Been there times many on family holidays over the years.
Eastgate market's brilliant. Just don't get ripped off LOL

But, for us this year, it's just 2 week on an AI in Torremolinos again.

It's a nice thought but it won't be happening. Why would I want to take a complete stranger into my world??

Went 2 weeks ago and is now full of gypsys. Don't let it worry though as these people keep themselves to themselves.
Boston is beautiful btw.
