I have bought tickets. Have seen the South before at Plug, yes there is no Paul Heaton and Dave Rotheray but Dave Hemmingway and Alison Wheeler, the other singers are there and Dave Stead. They are very entertaining.
I've also seen the Complete Stone Roses before and they are great too. That was enough to sell it to me to be honest.
Section 60 and Complete Madness also are good.

Keeley, yes you can take your own food in but no sharpes, no glass, no alcohol. Food and drinks outlets are on site and not rip off prices.

What do you call not rip off prices?
Because the pubs in Mosborough are very expensive

Would like to say a big thank you to Steve and all the other people involved in organising this. You'd never know this was your first festival.
My impression, having gone to big and small ones was you knew exactly what you were doing and everything was organised really well. The bands ran more or less to time and there was a great atmosphere, a mosh pit for them who wants it, and we took my mates' two little girls so they'd have their first festival style experience. The eldest loved it and although it was a bit much for the little one, that was her rather than you. There was plenty of room for families and groups to chill or there was room to stand at the front if you wanted.
Also all the bands were good, although Jessica wasn't to my taste, the kids liked her.
Security were very friendly and approachable and I had to use the St Johns due to getting stung by a wasp and having a bit of a reaction to it and they were great too. So thanks. Next time, don't be shy, come on and compere a bit more! Really hope you do it again

It was a very well organised event, just a shame it wasn't better attended.
A great day out

Had a great day, all within walking distance of my house! Mind you I'm only just recovering from the combination of standing up and drinking for 8 hours solid, must be my age
There's some clips on YouTube (not mine):

Thank you all for you kind comments and for attending. Organising it was hard work i'll tell you but the looks on people's faces made it all worth while. It was a great day and i sat in the beer tent at nine o'clock after everyone had gone with a big smile on my face. I have learned a hell of a lot from organising this festival and next year we will make it bigger and better. I've had so much brilliant feed-back so once again thanks for coming along and those of you who missed it come along next year as you missed a brilliant day.
Visit www.mosboroughmusicfestival.co.uk next week to see video's and photo's of a great day.
Thanks

Fab day had by all. Only 1 fault, not enough variety of drink. I'm a vodka drinker and had to drink lager (Yuk). Other than that can't wait til the next one.
