Okay here is one for you.
Religion = Faith & Belief.
The three words above represent everything and hold the very fabric of modern day society together.
So, with this in mind, which world religion - if removed - would bring every single country in the world to it's knees???
Discuss, debate......answer????

None
Because we are survivors and society would turn to something else
an alternative view
Music could be classed as a religion - Its the one thing that unites different cultures, languages, religions.
I bet there is not many people in the world who have never heard a beatles song. I watched a programme recently about North Korea, they interviewed a girl and she didn't know a lot about western way of life, but she new about the beatles and listened to their music

Well of course - but the removal of this religion would cause complete and utter chaos as we have never known before.

i disagree.
Religion = Faith, Belief, Guilt, and a hierarchical structure
sorry, but there you go. it's my reason for being anti-church in a big way. i've been an agnostic, and more pagan than anything else these days, but i will not support religions where the structure is more important than the people.

I don't think those three words represent anything like everything that holds a modern day society together - perhaps, in some extremely religious societies, but certainly not in this one.
Hmmmm.... I feel I may be taking this too seriously and this really is just a riddle?

It wouldn't make the slightest difference to our lives, we should carry on as before and it certainly would not cause chaos.
We have our laws, opinion's of right and wrong, after a few generation's religion would all be forgotten.
However, if you are saying that we wouldn't believe in anything "GOD" or a creator then you are wrong because man (woman) need something to worship.
The Sun, moon, water, soil, which we need to be able to survive and even today with all the technological advances, mankind is so vulnerable on this Earth.

Somone just mailed me for the answer.
Money
The key to this riddle is at the beginning
Quote:

Religion = Faith & Belief
|
faith & belief are the basis to the system which in turn makes it a religion.
What is a piece of paper worth? If I hand you a piece of paper that has £20 written on it and then set fire to it - most of you will be gobsmacked or panic (particularly if it was your piece of paper).
The paper is worth nothing only your belief that it will get you what it says on there. You also have faith in the person that you give it to that they believe the same as you do and give you what you believe it is worth.
If people stopped believing in money then every country would fall.

Paper money is a promise, I promise to pay the bearer it says on it and we know that promise is made by the bank of england. Presumably, the owner of the note has worked for it (not stolen it) and therefore is entitled to expect the amount specified for the work done.
It is more than faith, it is the knowledge that the economy is strong and the bank is capable of paying because it is the law and the bank of england does not break the law.
