Hi all - this post isnt for a rant about the proposed 387 houses at the sites. Ive had notification of the planning application sent to me yesterday and I can see already there are a couple of objections on the planning website.

My concern is that it will increase traffic to the area and therefore increase the volume of traffic on my road (Butchill Ave). We already have difficulty parking as one side of the road is "built up higher" so everyone tends to park on this built up side of the road where driveways have not been installed (its a huge cost to have them dug out). By doing this it permits more parking as the other side of the road have their driveways. Ive often thought to get a driveway but its quite expensive just from the labour perspective. My concern is the increase in traffic will make this more difficult to park and increase traffic flow.

What are other peoples views on the development??
