I went yesterday to have a puppy micro chipped at the PDSA, what a dump it's turned out to be. Gibraltar street looks like something from a Mad Max movie. How anyone manages to sell a flat in the old Workhouse building is beyond me, as is anyone wanting to live in nearby Riverside and Kelham Island.
I thought that Sheffield City Council could not shock me any more, well I was wrong, what the hell are they doing?

Agreed about West Bar and Gibraltar St, this is a fairly small area that could do with a good cleaning up!
However, if you had a wander down to Kelham Island and the Riverside area you would see that it isn't anything like Gibraltar St, and that it's an area that has benefitted from substantial urban regeneration.

I'm very under impressed with Kelham Island, it's totally surrounded by virtual no go areas, I don't feel comfortable there. As for Riverside, SCC spends years getting rid of Victorian slums, and then allowed them to be replaced with this development.

It is I dropped someone off there last week and picked them back up.
Perhaps where Crookesey went is a place they use for chipping.

They had kennels there, I appreciate that the animal hospital is on Newhall Rd, I phoned the number and ended up being told to contact this place, I'm not sure where I went now.

I think that I've sorted it, I reckon that it is the RSPCA shelter on Spring Street, another senior moment.
It's still crap down there.

I've even managed to confuse myself, I'm just about to check the pup out, is it usual for them to go meow?

I live in kelham island and i love it, not many places you can look out on to a river and feed the ducks from your bedroom window. never felt unsafe round their either.
