Jack Lynn and Ivor Smith, architects of Park Hill flats...

Did they foresee the rise of the mobility scooter?

The streets in the sky, have/had a walkway wide enough for mobility scooters to pass each other.

Close enough to town for people with mobility scooters to drive into for their shopping, Park Hill could easily be the worlds largest retirement complex, fully accessible for mobility scooter users.

I sometimes saw the electric milk floats in the place and so assume the building was designed with those vehicles in mind.
