It's real alright and it is very widespread.

I lived in one of the better areas of Glasgow for a short time, but some of the sights I seen were incredible.

Mecky .. My Nan used to live in a tower block in Wishaw. Back in the 70's I used to wander around all over the place and it was bad enough then - I haven't the slightest doubt that The Scheme is showing the ugly side of an estate. Of course, there are a lot of "decent" people too, but don't kid yourself that this aint happening.

Hello,
I watched this as my mum told me to watch it, I found it so sad and depressing and shocking and very moving. I am thankful that I don`t live there it is so sad that these people are really just existing. It makes you thankful for the things you have and thankful for where you live and where you were brought up and the fact that you will never have to spend your life living on The Scheme.

It also makes you work harder to better yourself in your life so you never end up living like these poor unfortunate poeple.
