I have personally won about £10,000 on lottery by taking peoples ticket money and pronmising to pay them should they win.If they won amillion I would be dead but they have won very little and I pay them from my accumulated sum.The bodds on lottery are very poor due to tax and charity fees.

We've been playing the Lottery from day one (so nigh on 17 years), so far we've won several tenners, and about 9 weeks ago we got 4 numbers and won £83!
Could do with a big win though, I want to go to the US next year to attend WWE Wrestlemania 28 in Miami, Florida, would cost about 2 Grand probably.

I worked in a hotel where one of the chambermaids had won just over a million when it first started. She carried on working and lived in one of the most exclusive parts of Bournemouth/Poole. Lovely girl she was.

The couple I know who won 1.1 million moved away that very week and have not been seen since but the couple who won 350 grand (not long after the lottery first started) had spent it all within a few years and are now back on a council estate with normal jobs.

Why don't you actually try to contribute to a thread for once, instead of posting off topic in an inflammatory way as per usual?? You VERY rarely post on topic, how very boring.
Back on topic...
I've never met anyone who won a large sum.

I got an email from National Lottery the other week, "we have news about your lottery ticket", I got all excited because it was one of those bonus things they do every day of the week and I had it in my head you could only win several thousand, started planning out how to spend it, clicked on National Lottery website... £2.50. Nice. Gutted I was!

I had an email telling me that I had won the lottery, and to collect the winnings, all I had to do was to send several thousand dollars via western union money transfer to one George Agubwene so that that my winnings can be released.
It has been several weeks since I sent the money, so hopefully it wont be too long until I get my winnnings.

yes of course you have a chance of winning the jackpot, but the chance of winning the jackpots odds are so high you cant win it,so i suppose its a bit of an oxymoron, the lottery relies on people winning the smaller amounts, plus with the odds, you will almost get 2 numbers every week or at least every couple of weeks, therefore you keep playing. but other than what joanl put above, how many people do you know who have won a significant amount of cash, or who they know, and they know etc......... probably not a lot.

So I could email you, and tell you that you've won x amount of money, and because I give you my name, I'm not trying to scam you? Mate, you're I've read the emails when they come, they ask for your Bank details to deposit teh cash, does that not set alarm bells ringing in your head?!

No because you don't have my email address. You'll be crying into your pillow when I receive my millions and share it with all the SF regs other than you.
