Hi, I'm looking for historical information about the J A Chapman co of Woodside(?) Sheffield. They made carpentry tools and were bought out by Stanley (USA) in about 1937.
Any help will be most welcome.
Geoff.

Thanks for that M&P.
Every piece of info is appreciated.
I'm gradually getting it there. I'm just surprised that there is not a published history of a manufacturer of such well made and popular tools.
Geoff.
