is your son ok, cant have been nice to witness this. Must have had what the person thought a valid reason to do this!
Rather selfish to do this infront of others though (sorry for being incensative) the people still alive will not only have to live with the fact a friend is dead but haveing witnessed it while the dead person is gone and has no responsiblities.
My heart goes out to his family and his friends and all those who saw what happened.

Are you certain he killed himself? Are you sure you are perpetrating a rumour?

i to hope your son is ok after witnessing something so tragic. I to think its a selfish act, however doing this in public may also mean it was a cry for help that went wrong, whatever its tragic.x

most people that do this as a cry for help do their wrists the wrong way then tell someone, not their wrists and throat that is not a cry for help its a way of making sure you do the job properly

im pretty sure you wont die by slitting ur wrists, prob loose a lot of blood but take a long time to actually die from this act,a cry for help, and not a nice thing for anyone to see,

Yes!Do you remember when attempted suicides were subject to prosecution and successful ones were denied access to a church burial?Do you think a person in this situation thinks about the convenience of others?I think your sympathy is misplaced.

Oh dear he must have been suffering greatly to do that and yes it was obviously a cry for help.
If you read the OP it was her son's friend who witnessed it not her son

How sad people feel this is the only way. Sliting your throat seems more than a cry for help. I hope the op son may have been mistaken and the boy is ok and all the family and anyone who saw. Must be awful

Its all well and good people sayinging "this was a cry for help" or "he must have been desperate" etc....
HOwever, I bet evertone who is posting on this forum right now, at some point knew someone in life who was falling off the rails, which caused them to act strangely etc.... HOw many people would step in and help a person like this?
I reckon many people who this person knew, turned their backs on him/or her when his/or her life was falling off the rails.
Sadly, I can see this happening in the future more and more, especially when the cuts/job losses begin to bite. Money worries, house under threat, people turn to drink, people lose control in life etc....how many people will turn to a desperate person and offer help?

It can't be insensitive if it's not true can it?

if someone has made this up...then it is insensitive to any one who has been affected by suicide...
