So off we go, sort out 86 year old mother in residential home for two weeks, put dogs in kennels, take wife's car to son's place.
Drive to Manchester Airport at 3:30 am, park up and get to terminal, stand in bloody queue for an eternity, answer daft questions about our luggage and then on to passport control and another queue. Stand in yet another queue and expect to be checked for exploding shoes, go and get a well deserved coffee.
Expect the usual delay and finally get on plane, get off plane and go for 15 minutes walk to baggage collection, and wait for 30 minutes for the first case, that will go around and around on it's own several times before it's friends are allowed to join it.
We will then be free agents, walk round to railway station and catch train to the resort before ours, off train and onto bus, dropping us off directly outside our resort, we then hit the brandy bottle.
Is it all really worth it?

Depends where you're going! If you were off to say, Libya or Benidorm for instance, maybe not!

That is a little unfair on Libya.

Agreed, it's a classic example of typing before thinking.
My apologies to Libya, even with all your current troubles, it's surely not as bad as Benidorm!

Would you say you're a very negative person? You think like you'd find something to moan about in even the most positive situation.

No but I'd say that you are a wannabe keyboard warrior with aspirations of being a troll.
