What was going off at Hillsborough this evening?

I was down in Hillsborough park between 6-7.30 tonight and there was a fair bit of noise coming from the ground.

Does anyone know what it was, it sounded like simulated crowds to me but I can't think what for.

reserves match?

wondered that myself, i guessed at reserve match but havent a clue

Nothing on website and I thought they played at Stocksbridge.

There weren't any football crowds either which was odd!

University matches.

This week has been Varsity week which sees the Universities up against eachother in sports events. This afternoon saw the womens football match followed by the mens at 6pm this evening both at Hillsborough....No doubt a good few students came out to watch it.
