At last a concert at Don Valley Stadium next summer....pity its the Rolling stones though.

u never know though metallica supported the stones in america, i wud go see 'tallica then jst leave! i hate mick jagger and the rolling stones money grabbing c**ts

Ticket prices, are they supposed to be realistic ?

yh £150 quid tickets! then a huge booking fee added on!

Tickets for the Rolling Stones concert at Don Valey Stadium on Sunday 27th August 2006 go on general sale at 9am on Friday 9th December 2005.

Individual ticket prices and booking fees are listed below - please be aware that no booking fee is charged on bookings made by cash or cheque when paid for in person at the Hallam FM Arena Box Office.

£150 tickets may be subject to a £12 booking fee
£90 tickets may be subject to a £9 booking fee
£60 tickets may be subject to a £9 booking fee
£40 tickets may be subject to a £7 booking fee

Why type out again...!!?? The link wasn't working for me before!

Could this be a world record for the highest booking fee EVER?? Has anyone out there (willing to admit) ever paid more than this???

i wouldnt mind going to that concert its a bit pricey but what confuses me is the various ticket prices i presume the cheapest one is a basic standing ticket and the dearest been a seat in front of the stage

methinks ill wait til after xmas to buy a ticket

Just wondered why the increase in booking fee - is the £150 ticket heavier than the others?? Does it take more men to carry it to the post box???

I've heard quite a lot recently that the dearest tickets will actually be on the stage!! They are going to erect seating on the stage facing the crowd so you get to experience being "on stage". Whether they do this at Don Valley I'm not sure, but it's definitely planned for some of the gigs. Think I'll go for the £40 tickets though...

They obviously know that if you've got that much dosh to spend on a gig, you've got enough to pay the over inflated booking fees
