What wonderful and wacky facia have you got on your mobile or mobiles?

I have the England 3 lions one with the St George flag

none, as i have a sharp gx10i. do you think mobile phone fascias will die out as most phones seem to be either metal or flip these days? will certainly put paid to all those little market stalls which sell fascias and accessories.

I reckon the majority of mobile fascias look tacky...

Nothing like a sleek and sophisticated flip phone...

Fascias are okay if they are the genuine make - the dodgy ones that you get from the street vendors are always a bit loose fitting and dodgy, and the buttons are a bit, erm, approximate.
I prefer fascia phones, cos if you drop em, the fascia usually takes the impact, rather than the phone.

Wouldnt like a gimicky one though, like a union jack or whatever. Just plain black if possible.

I think i'd break a flip phone quite quickly, so i wouldnt want to risk buying one.

Long live the Nokia 3210 - the best phone in the world ever!

I've got a Nokia 6510. It's small and cute and does what it's supposed to do. I've got the original fascia on it - a sort of metallic gold colour.

I've got a Nokia 8310 (courtesy of ebay as my 8210 died). Must say I prefer Nokia's but the price of a genuine Facia is outrageous - you're looking at 15-20 quid!

the 3210 is the best phone ever man! Dont diss...

It's got loads of cool stuff, like nice big buttons for when your hammered and trying to call a taxi, vitually indestructable, never crash/lock up, have no silly unneccesary functions (like my current phone, which has a very innacurate thermometer - whats the point?), and above all are just cool as!

Things were better in 2000 anyway. I was a student and everything was so much more fun!

I've got a 3200. It has a clear plastic cover and you can make your own facias with a cutter thingy which is provided free of charge.

I've never seen those. What have you made to go on your current fascia? Anything good?

Nah, I'm just using one of the standard ones that came with it. I'm no artist.

Ahg! I'd spend ages making new covers if I could. I'd probably start with my Avatar (yeah, sad I know) and then find loads of funky pictures and get them made up! In fact I want a 3200 now.

I've got the Nokia 6220. You can buy facias for it but to be honest I like the one it came with, silver keys and back with black trimmings. Looks smart, why would I want to change it for a fluorescent flashing thing with flowers on and pay for that ..er.. privilage!!!!!!

I know. i love my sharp flip phone. i had a nokia 3310 and even tho' it was easy to use the keys kept coming off lock in my pocket and ringing my last dialled numbers. it was costing me a fortune. i replaced it with another 3310 and it did the same thing. wonder if anyone else has had this trouble?

We have a Trium 'Brick' as my son calls it, but even after
five-or-six years it still works like a dream. Might bulk your pocket up, but so what.

Sod your fascias.

cant speak for starchild, but i'm not really bothered about the camera on my gx10i. i've only used mine once for that as i bought it for the flip top to protect my keys. I already have a 6mp digital camera and i'd rather use that than the phone.

I see your point, but some people want your set up others want it added to a phone, with 3G developing currently, this could be used for video calls if need be in the future *cough*
