I've used the place probably a dozen times and usually have a sausage, mushroom and onion s/wich and have never been dis-satisfied. Plenty of the workmen using Wicks seem to frequent the place as well so it must be okay for most things.

I call maybe a couple of times a week, mostly just have a coffee but sometimes have a sarni. The 'steak' is usually one of those rubber steak canadian delicacies! I stick to the sausage or bacon and egg. My favourite butty shop is only 2 mins away though so unless I'm headed in the opposite direction, I go to Charley's on Wostenholme Rd....they are excellent.
Porky's at Wickes, by the way is up for sale as Alan is retiring (again).
Best sandwich shop in town is brunch and lunch, i've been to the shop discussed and them take to lightly cook bacon and they forget about it and I got well done
