Does anyone know what the rough waiting list time is like for a laparoscopy in Sheffield?

Saw T C Li private at the Thornbury yesterday and can have it done next week but someone said they thought it was only a couple of weeks on the NHS at the moment?

Been trying to contact his secretary at Jessops but was always busy to check..

Thanks

I had one done nearly 2 years ago and only waited a couple of months on the NHS.

My girlfriend had one due at the end of Jan after seeing her consultant in November but she had flu and has now got hers in the middle of March.

I had mine done at Thornbury by Professor Li in August last year, the waiting list for Sheffield was 18 weeks then. My first lap was at Rotherham Hospital and it was around a two week wait but that was around 2 years ago.

You might be waiting longer for Tc in the NHS than some of the other consultants
