In all honesty Kirky I would go for Attercliffe. I also like pork sandwiches and only live round the corner on Darnall Road. Sarnis always go down well when events are on at the Stadium. Beware though that there are a few sarni shops, cafes and restaurants down there already. If the regeneration of the area actually happens this time, then I think you will be in for a killing. Plenty of sandwich trade when the area is full of tradesmen and laboureres doing the work, plenty of long term butcher trade when the new resedential properties are built, only you might have to broaden your outlook and sell more than pork if you are to supply the whole community . And you might even get chance to do guest DJ spots at the superb pubs on Attercliffe.

Good luck

No problem. I forgot to mention the passing trade from La Chambre (although you are already familiar with that) and the Omega. I remember being in the Kings Head a few years ago when one of the lasses from the Omega came in for a plate of whipped cream. I didn't even realise they served strawberries at the Omega.

I can see there might be advantages in opening at fir Vale, because of the hospital (as a supply of customers, not food poisoning!) and also with the new Tesco being built, you might have a few workmen coming in.

Looking at the thread "Is Tinsley an abandoned village ?", i'd give Tinsley a miss. Regarding Attercliffe, I did a quick recce up Staniforth Road today and couldn't find one roast pork sarni shop until I got almost to Darnall so i definitely think that Staniforth Road has to be the place.
