I love going out on New Years Eve but i live near concorde swimming baths and i'm not sure what pubs are like near by. When me and my partner go out we normally go down town.

Its hard to get down town for New years eve, (even probably harder to get home) so it nicer to be closer to where we live.

I went to a hotel last year which was ok but expensive for 1 night.

WHATS EVERYONE UPTO FOR NEW YEARS EVE????

Probably doing the same. Can't afford to go out and pay the extortionate prices!

Is your other half a member of a working mens club? I live near concord sports centre and normally go to lane top club. It`s always a top night and it`s free to get in also the beers cheap.
I`m not going out this year though as the wife`s working.
Also did you know that there` a golf club to the back of the sports centre. You don`t need to be a member to go in.

Bournemouth Pier usually where they do a midnight firework display. Wind, rain and cold but such good fun. Everyone is in a good mood and appearance means nothing.....you dress for the elements. Every year I say no more but every year I'm back, then home for a warming dram.
Hope you all have a good one whatever your doing.
