If one of the cars hits you then you deserve every broken bone you get..

Stupid sodding kids!

Lighting is bad enough on there, drivers don't need the extra hazard of little pricks running across the road, one of them nearly got clipped by the car behind me!

Grrr if only I could swear!

My sister reported this stupid game to the police when it was played on the East Lancs Road whilst she was driving along it.

A girl was killed the next night

Try having a drive up round Foxhill Cresent in the evening they are at it all the time you will know them when you see them all wearing their white pillock caps and with gormless expressions on their faces.

The trouble is that when some unsuspecting driver knocks down and kills one of the mindless morons it is the driver who has to live with the death on his/her hands for the rest of their lives, whilst the newspapers will report that a young boy was killed by a speeding motorist, and the kids parents will appear on Look Leeds saying what a nice boy he was.

Look on the bright side though.........it's good for the local florist who sell shed loads of flowers for the spot to be marked

Can always remember a few years ago a lad got himself run over and killed by a bus at Herdings bus terminus through running alongside the bus trying to pull out the emergency engine stop lever.

Did the lads friends show some respect for their friend by staying away from the area did they heck the very next evening there was even more of them trying the same thing including a big shaven headed numpty with a fierce dog in the hope that it might be the same driver on the bus which killed the unfortunate young lad.

You dont want to advertise the place - some people might be tempted to go round there with their car and and take out a few of those stupid chavs ...

I've always had the idea of big red buttons in the street with the legend "DO NOT PRESS THIS BUTTON.... YOU WILL DIE!" in very big letters above and below..... the button would in fact be connected to 50,000 volts and would indeed kill you.

the numpties would be queuing up to press the bloody thing and we could all have a bit more food , air and fossil fuel to play with!

That's more conditioning than natural selection, as this would also capture the curious and not just the stuupid. . .

Indeed, it is conditioning, and curiosity is a very good quality as long as it is tempered with a healthy self preservation ethic, those so 'curious' as to still try the button, well, they're as bad as the numpties.

to quote Bill Hicks, talking about idiots on acid jumping out of windows to try and fly;

"if you think you can fly, take off from the ground first... check it out!"

the curious and smart will watch and see what happens when SOMEONE ELSE presses the button.

We used to have the same problem on Wood Lane here in Stannington, stupid Chav kids (and no, the area is not full of Chavs before anyone starts) from Myers Grove playing "Chicken" on Wood Lane... My Mum nearly ran a couple over a while back, and actually went into the School and told the Head...

They invited her to do a special "assembly" session on the matter but Mum hates doing anything like that so she declined the offer, if it'd have been me I would've done it, wouldn't have made much difference admittedly cos everything you say to these kids is in one ear and out t'other

What larks, eh? it's peeing it down with rain, cold, dark, I know - lets go and run out in front of rush hour traffic. Fun fun fun!

Even if I hit one I more bothered about the damage to my car

Obviously nothing inside their head to damage

You're right D2J... it'd be like deflating a balloon. It's not the first time I've seen them in that spot, but I'm more worried about the time i don't see them.

Surely they should be sat in a bus shelter somewhere shooting up, or out drinking Thunderbird on street corners, not disrupting traffic. People need to get home for their teas.
