Someone posted a few weeks ago that they saw some penguins down Rivelin valley, is that close enough to puffin?

Greenland or Iceland I reckon would be a good place to start, personally I can't imagine there being much demand over here and therefore can't imagine it being imported. I have to say in the whole time I've been a chef I've never, ever come across it, however I could be wrong and by the sounds of things I should be giving it a try.

Puffins are normally found off east coast of England but theres not much meat on them they're not much bigger than a seagull

Try Barnsley market, they have the exotic. Croc, Alli, kangaroo, ostrich, etc, not sure about puffin though but if you ask.

UPDATE: Puffin is a protected bird in the UK, they do cull them in iceland.

Do a quick search on Gordon Ramsey and puffin, he once cooked one.

You can get a puffin at many pedestrian crossings (and some exciting ones too).
They also stock pandas, pelicans, and zebras
