Surely something has to be done, why do the authorities put up with it.
If you time players going down, wasting time on throw ins, goal kicks, etc etc
I bet it comes up to near on 20 minutes these day's, then managers have the cheek to complain when 4 or 5 minutes injury time is given by the officials...

I know where you are coming from Corkers. Makes me mad when Drogba falls over under seemingly every challenge. The man is built like the preverbrial brick outhouse and he goes down at every available opportunity. If he wants to play a non contact sport then I suggest he plays golf or something. He must feel embarrassed surely when he sees his antics replayed

To be fair thousands are doing it now and as you say its bloody annoying, especially when you have had a few bob on it aswell lol
It's getting stupid, I'm watching Montpellier v Lyon at the moment and Lyon are winning but even so one of the Montpellier players still faked an injury and wasted his own time, total joke material man lololol

Totally agree but its just the way the game seems to be now. Faking injuries, wasting time, arguing with the ref, just a complete disregard for the rules of a game a used to love.

I think the only was is to come down hard on them, ie any player that goes down has to be taken off immediately (get a load of manned streches situated around the pitch) and stays off for a minimum of couple of minutes. Same with dissent - zero tolerance, argue wih the ref and its in the book, swearing directly at him and you're off.

I know its been said a thousand times, but kids look up to these players. Its no wonder.......

It really gets me riled, these bunch of overpaid, mardy numpties have ruined football for me.

Anyways, Im starting to sound like those that moan about teachers not going to work or that a bus driver was rude, so Ill shut up lol

lol, i watch a lot of European games, ive currently got GBA V Genk on and they haven't done anything like that, maybe because they know it's not as high profile in Belgium and theres not as many cameras to play up to.
