Kevin McCabe has stepped down as chairman of Sheffield United Football Club...
It has been unofficially announced that Sheffield United Chairman Kevin McCabe has quit his position as chairman of the club.
The news is expected to be official in the morning, with Chris Steer to take over the reigns at Bramall Lane.
McCabe is expected to still have a role within the club and will only step down from his position as Chairman.
The news comes the same day the club announced its annual reports.
