Somewhere out there is the owner of a blue Mazda <removed> who decided it was fine for him to park in a disabled bay in Endcliffe Park while he took his little girl to the swings. When I pointed this out, he became abusive, suggesting that it was a trivial matter, that I should "get a life". According to him, being disabled is ok because "you get benefits"! Never mind the fact that a lot of disabled people would do anything to be able to work and take their kids to the park.
I do wish that everybody would have a little consideration for others, I think the world would be a better place! Rant over!

Please note that it is against forum policy to name and shame.

Why didn't you just vandalise his car when he was wasn't looking?

I had the same problem in the B&Q car park in Donny,I informed this so called builder he was parked in a disabled bay in his tranny, his reply was the same he was going to punch my nose and no wonder they keep reading in newspapers of old blokes being assualted in car parks,so coming from an era when a man does not back down especialy coming from 40s-50s Shirecliffe I confronted him and told him to think very carefully if he didnt fancy his dinner through a tube,he huffed and puffed and made his excuses,it was his lucky day, hahaha! His parting words were I''ll remember thee,so I said ,How could I ever forget a golf ball look a like, thaart all mouth and trousers.Bullies are all the same.

We all see things like this everyday but don't feel the need to post on the forum every time it happens! Grow up and get a life please

He's also posted it on the disability forum.
Maybe hoping to whip the crowd into a frenzy?

Shame or not, it's a forum rule, as is only posting a topic once and not spamming the forum.
I understand that you're angry about this, but the answer is not to land the forum owner with a legal bill, is it?

Sure its bad and all and you have got to be a tool to do it but i'm just surprised that you have got nothing better to do than moan about something that didn't really effect you!

Sorry, I didnt realise I could only post once, my mistake.
@ Oompa - yes, these things do happen everyday (same as most things on the Forum!), but that doesn't mean we should sit back and accept them. I strongly believe that we should ALL accept some responsibility for our behaviour in society. How many times do we hear that "somebody should do something about it"? Well, each one of us is that Somebody and the sooner we do something, the better. Otherwise, roll over and take all the <REMOVED> and dont bother with forums!

What a moron. I'd have let two tyres down (two so he can't get away in using the spare!).
If you unscrew the dust cap, put in a small stone or bit of gravel and screw it back on the tyre will flatten automatically!

hmm 'Get a life'... that would be where you take the time to read and comment on a post that you have no interest in would it?
That's not wasting your life at all is it

Yes it might seem trivial to people like that, but there is a valid reason that disabled parking spaces are provided, mainly for wheelchair uses who need the room at the side to get out of the car, my mum really needs these types of spaces. I know people probably think that wheelchair uses should just stay at home, but why should they, if they lost the use of their legs they would want to get out as much as possible to try to make the most of their life, and not finding a space right for them can make all the difference to them. I think ALL people should experience being in a wheelchair for just one day and they would be surprised how difficult life can be, so something simple like allocate car parking spaces can make such a big difference, and can actually determine how they enjoy their life too!

What a load of crap!!
A wheel chair can be pushed from anywhere in the car park and you never know they might just enjoy the fresh air!
Why is this country now full of wingers?

No shortage of people completely lacking empathy either. I take it you park in disabled bays then?
